• Emerald Ash Borer: Beetles leave D-shaped holes—key signs of EAB infestation. Heavy woodpecker activity also indicates infestation, as they feed on larvae beneath the bark.
• Bagworms: Heavily bagworm infested trees may be completely defoliated. Evergreens often fail to regrow, and affected branches may die.
